All our classes are non-hot and the duration of each class is 60 minutes (unless otherwise stated).

 

Beginner Hatha

Beginner Hatha is ideal for beginners who have been attending basic classes for a while and wish to bring their practice to the next level. Also suitable for seasoned practitioners who are returning to their practice after a long break or seeking a gentle approach to their practice. This class will help build strength and flexibility while allowing students to move into variations of each posture according to their own individual levels. 

 

Core Yoga

Strengthening your core muscles not only helps you hold your yoga poses longer, it also lowers your risk of back pain, improves your balance, achieves better posture and also helps you to perform daily tasks better. Join us for an invigorating workout to build your abdominal and back muscles for a stronger core! Suitable for all levels.

 

Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow is a slower paced version of the usual Hatha Flow. This class will flow slowly through sun salutations and postures designed to build internal heat slowly and gently. Suitable for beginners who are new to Hatha Flow and those who seeks a slower pace of flow practice.

 

Gentle Yoga

A less strenuous, slow-paced practice that provides a gentle workout without putting any unnecessary strain on your body. Suitable for beginners, those recovering from injuries or anyone seeking a gentle practice.

 

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is the foundation for all yoga styles. Our Hatha class is suitable for all levels, using basic to intermediate postures to build strength and stamina, and improve overall flexibility.

Hatha Vinyasa

Linking classic Hatha postures with your breath so that it flows naturally from one to the next, this class explores variations of sun salutations, standing and balancing poses followed by seated poses. Suitable for all levels but some prior experience in yoga is required.

 

Hatha Vinyasa (MAN/ENG)

Linking classic Hatha postures with your breath so that it flows naturally from one to the next, this class explores variations of sun salutations, standing and balancing poses followed by seated poses. Suitable for all levels but some prior experience in yoga is required. This class will be conducted in 80% Mandarin and 20% English.

 

Pilates Matwork (Beginner)

Pilates teaches balance and control of the body. It improves one’s posture and balance. It also helps to increase one’s strength particularly of the abdomen and back muscles. An invigorating practice with lots of fun! Suitable for all levels.

 

Sun Salutation

Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskar, is a series of poses performed in a sequence to create a flow of movement to build heat in your body and help you improve breathing, flexibility and blood circulation. A great morning practice to start your day feeling energized and with purpose! Suitable for all levels but some prior experience in yoga is required.

 

Vikram Yoga

Experience an unconventional approach to yoga in this one-of its-kind class that is exclusive to Yoga In Sync. It focuses on strengthening your muscles, and improving your overall flexibility and body awareness. Suitable for all levels including those who are new to yoga.

 

Vinyasa Basic (MAN)

Linking classic Hatha postures with your breath so that it flows naturally from one to the next, this class explores variations of sun salutations, standing and balancing poses followed by seated poses. Suitable for all levels but some prior experience in yoga is required. This class will be conducted purely in Mandarin.

 

Yin Yang Yoga

A combination of a yin practice where postures are held passively for a longer duration and a yang flow practice which links active and dynamic moves with your breath. Suitable for all levels but some prior experience with yoga is required.

 

Yoga Basic

This class is ideal for those who are new to yoga. It gives you a good introduction to yoga, focusing on fundamental poses with guidance on muscle engagement and alignments. Suitable for beginners, experienced practitioners returning to practice after a long break or those seeking a slower paced practice.

A slow paced, relaxing practice of holding postures for a longer period of time to improve overall flexibility of the body. Suitable for all levels, this class is ideal for those with injuries or seeking a complementary practice to their cardio sports such as running, swimming and cycling.

 

Yoga Wheel (Basic)

Yoga Wheel is a prop that is specially designed to enhance your backbends but it also aids in deepening your stretches, provides support for challenging poses and prevents incorrect body alignments in some postures. In this 60-minute Basic class, students are guided through a variety of poses with the use of a yoga wheel which helps to release tension and muscular tightness in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen and hip flexors. You will also learn how to engage and stabilize muscles which are not commonly used in normal practice on the mat. Suitable for those who are completely new to yoga wheel but some basic understanding of yoga poses is required.
